Tamal Burise has been on the Newport staff since 2006 where he serves as the Dean of Students and the Director of Technology. Tamal was born and raised in the great state of Michigan and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Western Michigan University obtaining his B.A. in Computer Information Systems and his M.A. in Educational Technology. Tamal has brought a new way of life and technology to Newport by integrating technology in the classrooms.
