Mrs. Price is currently the Director of Institutional Advancement at the Newport School and believes in the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson "The secret in education lies in respecting the student." She holds a Master's degree in Police and Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Exeter, Exeter, England and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Framingham State College, Framingham, MA.

Her professional work experience has mainly focused on administrative leadership duties which includes 6 years as Executive Director of a national affordable housing non-profit organization and 5 years in an upper managerial position at the National League of Cities. While in these positions, Mrs. Price also developed and presented educational training and technical assistance to local elected officials (mainly mayors and city council members) on a variety of city-based issues, including affordable housing, community development, downtown revitalization, and public safety.

Mrs. Price built her relationship with the Newport School first as a parent, and then as President of the Newport School Community Association (NSCA) for two years. She is a grown-up beach bum and has an artistic side which finds fulfillment through computer graphics, painting murals and oil painting. Mrs. Price is married and much in love with her husband, Martin and has two sons, Zachary and Jake, who currently attend the Newport School and are the loves of her life.
